Lifetime Achievement award plus video of ceremony

 

The Recording Academy has awarded the prestigious Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award to performers who have made outstanding and lasting contributions to the fields of music and recording during their lifetimes. The first award went to Bing Crosby in 1962, and includes other notables such as Ella Fitzgerald, Paul McCartney, the Doors, Frank Sinatra, Tito Puente, and Janis Joplin. The Kingston Trio was amongst the 2011 awardees.
